    Everyone has a story, but how do you ensure that your unique voice shines through when putting your story on the page? Writer Lori L. Tharps will help identify what makes your writing original and authentic in a special two-part memoir writing workshop.

    Lori L. Tharps is an assistant professor of journalism at Temple University, an author, freelance journalist, and mom. Her books include Substitute Me, Kinky Gazpacho, and Hair Story: Untangling the Roots of Black Hair in America. Her work has been seen in Glamour, Essence, and Vogue Black.
