LECTURES & LITERATURE

Author Event with Leslie Klinger
October 12, 2011
Join the Rosenbach Museum for this intimate program with celebrated author Leslie S. Klinger as he discusses his upcoming publication, In the Shadow of Dracula (January 2012). In this work, Klinger explores a selection of 22 outstanding vampire stories that either informed or benefited from Bram Stoker’s hugely popular creation, including the first “true” vampire novel, The Vampyre, published by John Polidori in 1819.
This program is a part of the Rosenbach's 9th annual Dracula Festival, a month-long celebration inspired by Bram Stoker's Dracula.
