This program is a part of the UN International Year of the Forest. This program is free and appropriate for children ages 6-12.

Learn about different types of forests, what they have in common, and discover some of the many plants and animals that live there. Discover why forests are something we can’t live without and how you can help protect these special resources. The program will include a hands-on interactive lesson, activities outside, and a special forest-themed scavenger hunt in the museum.
