BORIS GARCIA has evolved into one of the most unique Americana bands in the land. They masterfully blend acoustic & electric instrumentation with a roots sensibility & melody that envelopes like a warm robe. Their recent CD “Today We Sail” was produced by Railroad Earth fiddler Tim Carbone and is their fourth national release. “Boris Garcia [fuses] a bluegrass/country/folk sound with a jazzy rock improvisation mode and really excellent songwriting. Some say it reminds them of Tom Petty, others of old Byrds. Either way, I like them, and want to share them with my larger family.” - Dennis McNally of Grateful Dead Productions HogMaw plays original music in an innovative progressive bluegrass style that is both experimental & familiar. In only two short years, HogMaw’s resume includes over 20 festival appearances and nearly 100 total performances including Philly FolkFest, headlining the Bucks CO Bluegrass Festival and they won the York Revolution Battle of the Bands where they played for a full stadium of 7000. “You guys are great players. Terrific!!" - Gene Shay 88.5 WXPN Theater Members: Purchase 2 tickets and receive a $15 Gift Certificate you may use at the Theater or the Washington House Restaurant!
