Playing with the intensity of feeling, warmth of expression and rhythmic precision that European quartets are famous for, the Berlin-based Artemis Quartet last wowed Philadelphia audiences in 2009 with a bravura all-Beethoven program. In their return to the Perelman Theater, they’ll continue their “constant search for sparkle” (Washington Post) in a program of Continental masterpieces by Schubert, Haydn and Dutilleux.
