“A poised and monstrously talented violinist” (Philadelphia Inquirer), 2010 Musical Fund Society award winner Benjamin Beilman is rapidly gaining attention for his “impeccable playing, eloquence and flair” (Musical America). For his PCMS recital debut with fellow Curtis Institute student Yekwon Sunwoo on piano, the fast-rising young star gives the world premiere of Curtis alum Chris Rogerson’s violin sonata alongside sonatas by Mozart, Strauss and Prokofiev.
