Winners of the first Borletti-Buitoni Trust Award, the Jerusalem Quartet has earned a growing reputation as “one of the young yet great quartets of our time” (The Strad). Their recent harmonia mundi recordings have illuminated cornerstone works by Haydn and Schubert, and their all-Shostakovich program at the Seaport Museum promises to do similar favors for the Russian master.
