Cellist Marcy Rosen and Pianist Lydia Artymiw
January 25, 2012
A founding member of the Mendelssohn Quartet and La Fenice ensemble, cellist Marcy Rosen has earned a reputation as “one of the intimate art’s abiding treasures” (Los Angeles Times). Fresh off a stunning performance of the Debussy cello sonata last April during the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, Rosen returns to the PCMS stage with the Minneapolis-based pianist Lydia Artymiw for a recital of sonatas by Beethoven, Barber and Thuille.
