Invite your friends, bring a date, and make it a night out on the Parkway! It's TFI after Dark—an exclusive evening event designed for adults who want to experience everything The Franklin Institute has to offer in an ‘after-hours’ setting, without the kids!

Admission to the special adults-only event includes music, games, cash bar, raffles, select Planetarium and IMAX® theater shows, hands-on activities, live science shows, observatory night viewing—plus access to all 10 museum exhibits including The Giant Heart, Sports Challenge , Changing Earth and Electricity! For all Pearl Jam fans, The Franklin Institute is the only place in the tri-state area to see the captivating new documentary Pearl Jam Twenty for a special one week run beginning September 23, and those attending TFI after Dark will be among the very first to see it and receive a discount on tickets for the exclusive premiere!

The Franklin Institute’s exclusive caterer Frog Commissary will provide a cash bar and snacks available for purchase all evening long. New area DJ Cool-Out from Scratch Weddings will be setting up a party in The Franklin rotunda. One lucky visitor will even win a four-pack of tickets to The Franklin Institute’s current exhibit Mummies of the World.

Plan your evening theater line-up with a visit to the Fels Planetarium and the Tuttleman IMAX® Theater. In the Planetarium, Black Holes is showing at 6:30 and 7:30 pm and you can catch the exclusive premiere of Pearl Jam Twenty at 7:30 and 9:45 pm in the IMAX® Theater. Finally, no visit to The Franklin Institute is complete without a stop at the Joel N. Bloom Observatory – especially during these romantic evening hours – when night viewing of the city sky is ideal.
