Guitar legend Dick Dale created the surfing sound in the late 1950s and early '60s, first hitting the charts with "Let’s Go Trippin" and "Misirlou." A platinum record, "Misirlou" has been re-discovered for Pulp Fiction and remixed by Black Eyed Peas in “Pump It."  Dick Dale andhis music were also featured in several beach flicks starring Annette Funacello and Frankie Avalon, and he’s even recorded original material for Disney theme park rides!
