Original theatrical performance inspired by the story of fugitive slave, Basil Dorsey, who secured his freedom in a dramatic courtroom confrontation in Doylestown, Bucks County, in 1837. Discussion follows the performance. Program supported in part by the PA Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities’ We the People initiative. Free. Reservations recommended.
