How did indigenous people living in the area survive the cold winters? What food was available to eat? You'll explore the grounds of The Schuylkill Center this week in search of the answers. Together, we'll build shelters that will help keep us warm, learn how to build a fire and cook outside. We'll also explore what animals are active in our neighborhood this time of year and take a closer look at what adaptations allow them to stay warm.
