With Halloween and harvest time in full swing, there are pumpkins and gourds everywhere! But where did they come from? Get the "inside scoop" on pumpkins.  You'll excavate a pumpkin to learn about its seeds, and then hunt outside for different kinds of seeds. Children will love making and taking home seed mosaics.

Part of the NFTY series on Mondays.
The Schuylkill Center hosts a series of programs for curious young naturalists-to-be between the ages of 3 and 5 years and their parents and caregivers. Each program highlights a different aspect of nature. Schuylkill Center educators use their naturalist and artistic skills to engage children with stories, songs, crafts, activities, outdoor experiences and lots of fun. The Schuylkill Center encourages children and their parents and caregivers to explore the natural world together; adult participation is required.
