There’s nothing like apple picking in the fall. Join The Schuylkill Center early in the day to visit locally owned Indian Orchards to learn about their low-spray methods of growing apples. You'll take a short tour, taste a variety of apples and pick some to take home.  Later you'll meet up again to press the apples you've just picked, making fresh cider. Interested folks can take it a step further and learn how to perfect the art of making hard cider.

The Young Friends of The Schuylkill Center support and promote the mission of The Schuylkill Center through social, educational, and fundraising activities. It is a social and philanthropic group for members and non-members ages 21 to 45.
