KIDS
Home School Class: Insects
October 4, 2011
What makes an insect an insect? Is a caterpillar an insect? How about a spider? Answer these question and more as you study the largest, most diverse group of animals on the planet. You'll spend the first part of class learning about insects and looking at The Center’s many preserved specimens, and then head outside to find some of the insects living at The Schuylkill Center.
The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education offers a series of outdoor education programs for homeschool students ages 6-9. Programs are held on Tuesday of each week.
