Merry Bloch Jones is the author of several mystery novels including the Philadelphia-based Zoe Hayes series. Her latest work Summer Session is the story of returned Iraqi war veteran Harper Jennings, who struggled to overcome PTSD. Trauma still seems to follow her and she finds herself in a circle of suicide, betrayal and murder. Jones is a member of The Liars Club and teaches at Temple University.

Dennis Tafoya’s second novel The Wolves of Fairmount Park places him solidly in the ranks of hard-boiled crime fiction writers. When two middle-class teenagers are shot down in front of a Philadelphia drug house, the crime leaves their grieving fathers to search for answers. In addition to his first novel, Dope Thief, Tafoya has written short stories that have appeared in Philadelphia Noir and elsewhere. A member of the Liar’s Club, Dennis is currently at work on his third novel.
