Faust - Simulcast Live from London's Royal Opera House
September 28, 2011
The classic tale of Faust, who sold his soul to Satan in exchange for worldly power, has been captivating audiences for hundreds of years. Gounod’s opera in five acts adapts the story of Faust’s downfall, and was the most successful opera of its time. With all-star performances from Vittorio Grigolo and René Pape and David McVicar’s spectacular staging, the Royal Opera House’s production is being broadcast live from London.
Faust runs 4 hr 15 min and is in French with English subtitles.
