Two adventurous genetic engineers splice together strands of DNA from different species in order to create hybrid creatures. When their supervisors order them to stop, the maverick scientists secretly begin experimenting with human DNA. Dr. Janet Sawicki, professor and genetic specialist at the Lankenau Institute for Medical Research, will introduce this screening.
This screening is part of the "What's Up, Doc?" Film Series, co-sponsored by Bryn Mawr Hospital.
Splice is rated R, runs 1 hr 44 min, and stars Adrien Brody and Sarah Polley.
