The Borromeo Quartet’s longstanding residency at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum has been called “one of the defining experiences of civilization in Boston” (Boston Globe). Known for its high technical polish, refined tone and searching musical insight, the accomplished foursome travels down I-95 for their first Philadelphia appearance in years –an all-contemporary program featuring works by Gunther Schuller, Lera Auerbach and Curt Cacioppo.
