    Having walked on stage over 2,000 times in the last 20 years, the St. Lawrence Quartet has established itself among the world class chamber ensembles of its generation. Alex Ross of The New Yorker hails the group as “remarkable not simply for the quality of their music making, exalted as it is, but for the joy they take in the act of connection." Their annual visits from the West Coast have become increasingly anticipated in recent years. Fresh off last season’s sold-out Perelman Theater performance, the St. Lawrence presents another compelling program featuring quartets by Haydn and Schubert and the premiere of a new work by Grammy Award-winning composer Osvaldo Golijov.
