Tenor Nicholas Phan and Pianist Myra Huang
November 4, 2011
A rising star in the opera world, American tenor Nicholas Phan made his Carnegie Hall recital debut last season and was also heard with the Philadelphia Orchestra in Stravinsky’s Pulcinella. Phan's voice “puts him in another league,” raves the Washington Times. “To see this level of mastery in a young singer... is to expect great things of his future.” Engaging songs by Purcell and Britten highlight Phan’s Philadelphia recital debut with pianist Myra Huang.
