Perpetual Groove and The Heavy Pets team up for a night of genre-spanning rock and roll. With both bands slated for Jam Cruise 10, concertgoers will get a preview of the talent hitting the high seas when Jam Cruise disembarks in January 2012.

Athens-based rockers Perpetual Groove have had quite a run over the last two years, releasing two studio projects including Heal, a full-length record, and the EP Honey Cuts. Add to that a slew of sold out shows, major festival appearances and the success of their own annual Memorial Day festival Amberland, and it is clear that PGroove has been reinvigorated with the addition of keyboardist John Hruby (formerly of Guest).

Called “a living, breathing, force of nature” by Relix, The Heavy Pets (THP) are known for powerhouse live performances and catchy tunes. First embraced by the jam scene for their raw talent, their self-titled album was then dubbed a “Top 10 Album of 2010” by the Huffington Post, which propelled them into the periphery of mainstream music.
