XPN Welcomes Amos Lee
November 5, 2011
'What makes Lee a musical gem—and an icon at his own level—is that you can sense the sincerity in his voice'' (Time Out Chicago).
Since the release of Amos Lee's first album, the Philadelphia-born singer-songwriter has developed into one the most celebrated artists of his generation. In recent years, he has shared the stage with musical-giants Bob Dylan, Merle Haggard, Paul Simon, and Elvis Costello and was also named one of Rolling Stone's ''Top 10 Artists to Watch.''
Lee tours in support of his recent album, Mission Bell, which displays both range and cohesion, an array of emotions unified by his eclectic taste and distinctive vocals. Featuring remarkable guests including Willie Nelson, Lucinda Williams, Sam Beam (Iron & Wine) and more, the album marks Lee's richest and most fully formed record to date.
