Friday Night Live is a monthly event that brings together live music and live art. The series began last winter and has quickly become a new CAC favorite. Each event features a live music performance. During the performance, featured artists create visual art that is inspired by and responds to the music. The work is auctioned off by a silent auction taking place throughout the evening. Join CAC for these Friday evenings as they explore the relationship between visual art and music. These events are BYOB and BAYF (bring all your friends). Light refreshments served. September 23: Fall Equinox Celebration with Clair Oaks--kirtan and folk; Jake L'Armand/Brian Kors duo, eclectic acoustic; artists: Sally paynter, Austin Dodson, Paul Downie, Bob Deane, Drew Arata. October 28: Masquerade Party (Wear a mask and be entered to win a prize!) with Philly Rhythym Kings--American roots meets gypsy swing; artists: David Guinn, Andres Lora, Jennifer Elam, Drew Arata. November 25: Black Friday After Party with Drew Nugent and the Midnight Society--old time speakeasy style jazz; artists: Juan Dimida and TBA.
