CITY RAIN City Rain is comprised of Philadelphia natives Ben Runyan and Jarrett Zerrer. Combining the New Wave sounds of the 80s with alt rock sounds of the late 70’s and today’s dancefloor electro, City Rain wears two guises. In club/venue setting City Rain performs as an Indie Rock/Electronica act with catchy vocals and funky guitar. Paired with that, City Rain performs at festivals, lounges, and bars as an ambient experimental techno group with live guitar and keys. http://www.facebook.com/cityraintunes THE CANON LOGIC After steadfastly perfecting their sound for the past few years this quintet from Brooklyn via Philadelphia finally unleashed their debut full-length, FM Arcade, this spring. The band was formed from the smoldering ashes of several post-punk, neo-corporate professional existences (day jobs), rising like a Phoenix over the hearts and minds of a people so desperate for contact. This music brushed their faces like an elegiac symphony --- a combustion of convention that settled like snow on a flat, heartland field. Each member faithfully reproduces the chiming of their true selves with each and every performance, spawning a new offspring with the same DNA, but a face completely their own.
