The Rustlanders with Flat Mary Road / The Holcomb Family / Former Belle
July 22, 2011
THE RUSTLANDERS Authentic, confident, refreshing, natural, the real deal; these are just a few of the words used to describe The Rustlanders self-titled debut album and live show. The first thing people often notice about The Rustlanders is how they combine their influences into a unique new sound. Rock, Country, Blues, and R&B, all combine to make good ol’ Rock n’ Roll in the traditions of The Band, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, and Tom Petty. Their current release, simply called The Rustlanders, is being heard around the world and has been receiving rave reviews in both the U.S. and Europe. The Rustlanders live show has been receiving the same acclaim as they make their way, city by city, across the country. http://www.myspace.com/rustlanders FLAT MARY ROAD We're Flat Mary Road from Philadelphia. We're interested in making good old American pop music and getting drink tickets at bars we play at. http://www.myspace.com/flatmaryroad THE HOLCOMB FAMILY The Holcomb Family is Folk / Psychobilly band from Philadelphia. The group consists of four brothers unrelated by blood, but connected through music. Andrew Foss, Joseph Randle, Shawn Matske, and Ian Alderman play hard, fast and loud. Not your typical low-fi folk rockers, The Holcombs roots run deep into a past of all ages punk and hardcore shows, extensive knowlege of depression era folk and blues and a taste of 60's rock. Some songs are wirtten as stories (1951), while others tell of the unseen wounds of drug addiction (Lost Highway). The Holcomb Family puts on a high energy live show with both electric and acoustic instruments, laps steels, hand claps, foot stomps, and tambourines. http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Holcomb-Family/119926098032635 FORMER BELLE Former Belle is a Folk / Indie / Noise group from Philadelphia. Band members are Bruno Catrambone, Patrick Schneider, Jaime Balinski, Tim Bostwick, and Kyle Sheva. http://www.facebook.com/formerbelle
