Jimmy Webb is best known for instant classics he provided for Glen Campbell (“By The Time I Get To Phoenix,” “Wichita Lineman,” “Galveston”), Richard Harris (“MacArthur Park”), Fifth Dimension (“Up, Up and Away”), The Brooklyn Bridge (“Worst That Could Happen”) and Art Garfunkel (“All I Know”). Waylon, Willie, Johnny & Kris hit #1 in with “The Highwayman” winning Jimmy another Grammy for Best Country Song of the Year & a CMA Award. With a discography reading like a “Who’s Who” in the music world, Webb’s songs were cut by Tony Bennett, Rosemary Clooney, Urge Overkill, Reba McEntire, Shawn Colvin, Linda Ronstadt, Joe Cocker & James Taylor. Jimmy Webb’s performing career also features several albums including his recent critically acclaimed “Just Across The River” and he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from The National Academy of Songwriters.
