Elliott Yamin topped the charts with "Wait for You" from his Platinum album, which debuted No. 1 on Billboard. Placing third on American Idol’s fifth season, guest coach Stevie Wonder told Yamin he should pursue a career in music and Simon Cowell stated Yamin was "potentially the best male vocalist" in five seasons on American Idol, and after Yamin's "A Song for You" performance, declared it a "vocal masterclass” which also ranked third on Entertainment Weekly's countdown of the 16 best American Idol performances. Elliott Yamin’s other hits include "Fight for Love", "Can't Keep on Loving You (From A Distance)", "Moody's Mood for Love" & “Movin' On" and he’s appeared on the Tonight Show, Live with Regis and Kelly, Ellen DeGeneres & Jimmy Kimmel Live.
