    Open the door and sleep under the stars. Join The Schuylkill Center on June 25th and 26th as they team up with the National Wildlife Foundation and REI to host the 7th annual Great American Backyard Campout. Participants will have the opportunity to hike the trails, learn to fish and canoe, enjoy a nocturnal wildlife program with live animals and enjoy the company of other families in a beautiful setting. Together you’ll explore a whole other world right in our own neighborhood! Wake up Sunday morning to breakfast, bird hikes, and a special kids program. All meals included, dinner provided by Whole Foods Market, Plymouth Meeting. REI – Conshohocken will be giving away a 4 person tent w/footprint and staff will be available to answer questions about the latest gear and information on getting your family outside. Bring your own tent, or rent one from The Schuylkill Center for a nominal fee. Activities: fishing, canoeing, hiking and wildlife exploration, campfire and storytelling, nocturnal wildlife program, and stargazing.
