Learn to sew! FAC will walk you through all the basics from machine threading to pattern reading. Be guided through projects designed to build your skills; never sewn before? No problem! Here’s the scoop, FAC has picked two really hip patterns from Amy Butler, a great designer who also makes really fabulous prints. You'll start with her “Stash & Dash” bags and then move onto to make the “Birdie Sling” bag. Google these bags online and you’ll know exactly what you’ll be working on. FAC provides sewing machines (but if you’re bringing your own, let them know). FAC will also provide all other tools and equipment and the materials for the first night of class. You’ll want (and need) to shop for fabric for the big bag.
