In this World War II satire, Charlie Chaplin plays a Jewish barber who bears a striking resemblance to the leader of a totalitarian regime, beginning a series of hilarious mistaken-identity encounters. The comedy earned Academy Award nominations for Best Picture, Best Screenplay, and Best Actor for Charlie Chaplin. This screening is part of the The Great Charlie Chaplin film series
