Our June 2nd event will get you primed for your summer adventures with great music and great art at one of this country's oldest and most esteemed fine art shows--the Annual Student Exhibition. DJ Shawn Ryan spins a whimsical playlist all night, digging deep into his collection to bring music that will spark your sense of adventure and send your imagination whirling off into the sunset. Or learn how to make hand-made travel journals with artists from the Art in the Open Festival and help create a fantastical landscape that your mind lusts to wander into. Art in the Open will also be awarding an After Dark People's Choice Award to one of the students in the show, so come prepared to look, listen, argue, assess and eventually, cast your ballot. Works in the Annual Student Exhibition are also for sale, so don't miss your last chance to buy the work of the next generation of great American artists.
