MULTICULTURAL

As part of the PECO Multicultural Series The Southeast Asian Dragon Boat Festival
September 10, 2011
The PECO Multicultural Series offers a culturally rich outing with a chance to explore the world without needing to travel. These festivals celebrate the diverse ethnic heritages that make Philadelphia unique. New to this year’s series is the Southeast Asian Dragon Boat Festival. The festival focuses on understanding the history and appreciating the culture of Southeast Asia while raising support for servicing their community now living here in the Delaware Valley. Your participation will help raise funds and awareness for local Cambodians, Laos, Vietnamese, Thai and other relevant populations in need of accessible, trustworthy, non-profit human service resources here in the Delaware Valley.
