Nashville-based singer-songwriter & clawhammer banjo player Abigail Washburn pairs venerable folk elements with far-flung sounds, and the results feel both strangely familiar & unlike anything you’ve ever heard before. Profiled in Newsweek for creating a “gorgeous, joyful new sound,” Abigail Washburn takes her bold and expansive musical vision to new heights on her third recording ”City of Refuge” .  Abigail returns to Sellersville Theater with her quintet.  (Cabaret seats are reserved for Theater Members until 6/8)

“Ms. Washburn’s enigmatic songs mingle Appalachia and folk-pop, with tinges of Asia and Bruce Springsteen.” – Jon Pareles, New York Times
