Nektar, Brainticket & Hawkwind co-founder Huw Lloyd-Langton are embarking on their first U.S. tour in decades – the first ever for Brainticket! These three iconic European bands helped found the genre of Progressive “Space Rock” which is experiencing a resurgence. Formed in the late 60s with members of German, Swiss & Italian descent, BRAINTICKET released a half-dozen albums over the years; around the same time, four Englishmen who met in Germany formed the initial incarnation of NEKTAR, who would go on to release multiple albums over the next several decades and influenced the likes of ELP & YES; a founding member of England’s HAWKWIND (along with Lemmy who formed Motorhead), Huw Llloyd-Langton launched his solo career in the early 70s to and worked with the likes of Bonzo Dog Band, Leo Sayer & Windowmaker.  (Cabaret seating reserved for Theater Members until 6/21/11)
