The Vikings are coming to South Philadelphia! Travel back in time for a day full of Viking culture. Highlights include learning the ancient Runic alphabet, playing Viking chess, seeing a 40 foot longship, and visiting a Viking encampment. Families will also have the opportunity to see art inspired by the Vikings of long ago in the exhibit "Knitting Along the Viking Trail", featuring knitwear by Scandinavian artist Elsebeth Lavold. This program will take place outdoors if weather permits.
