    Featured composers: Haydn and Brahms. Featuring violinists Geoffrey Michaels and Philip Kates, violist David Giles, and cellist Charles Forbes, the Philadelphia-based Liebesfreud is an ensemble devoted primarily to the performance of great literature for the string quartet. The name, meaning Love's Joy, is best known as that of a heartfelt piece by beloved violinist Fritz Kreisler.
