Join PAA for an exciting new series of informal interviews with local persons of interest. Entitled Conversations Contemporary, this series will offer patrons the opportunity to learn more about these local celebrities through interviews with experts in their field. The series kicks off on Tuesday, May 10, with an interview with current Chief Executive Officer of The Philadelphia Museum of Art, Timothy Rub! Mr. Rub will be interviewed by notable local artist, Diane Burko. About the Interviewee: Timothy Rub currently serves as the George D. Prior to becoming Director of the PMA in June 2009, Mr. Rub served as Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Cleveland Museum of Art, where he guided the museum’s comprehensive capital project and fundraising campaign, oversaw the re-installation of its extensive holdings of European and American art in its renovated 1916 building and new East Wing, and brought to completion the first phase of its seven-year renovation and expansion project designed by renowned architect Rafael Viñoly.
