Fighting Kissing Dancing

The Fabric Workshop and Museum (FWM), in an exchange with the de la Cruz Collection Contemporary Art Space, Miami, presents the video installation Fighting Kissing Dancing, organized by curator and artist Carlos Rigau, featuring video works by Miami and New York based artists Nancy Garcia, Justin H. Long, Jillian Mayer, Martin Murphy, Sleeper, Viking Funeral, and Bryan Zanisnik.On view at FWM’s The New Temporary Contemporary at 1222 Arch Street, Fighting Kissing Dancing is a curated video space consisting of a single-channel video projection, a viewing area with a bench and a grip bar, and a neon sculpture that brings to mind the form of cinema, television and computer screens. Visitors are provided with a familiar environment in which to engage with works of contemporary art.
