    Sweet Soubrette, a NYC-based ukulele-powered indie rock band described by Femmusic.com as “cabaret rock,” released its second album, Days and Nights, in January with a show that filled NYC’s Bowery Poetry Club to capacity. Now Sweet Soubrette is touring the Northeast U.S. in support of the new record. Seven dates are confirmed in April 2011, culminating in a show at Tritone on Easter Sunday, April 24. Sweet Soubrette’s last appearance in Philadelphia, at World Café Live, was described by local music blog Phrequency.com as "Wry, unapologetic, sassy and flirty...the perfect balance of passion and deadpan...the audience absolutely adores it."
