    The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation will host an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 23 at 11AM only. Children 12 and under are welcome to search fie fields of the farm to find eggs with treats and surprises in them. Families are welcome to stay and explore the farm and see the animals, including the baby chickens and pigs. There will also be hearth cooking, garden, farm, and house tours. Enjoy a day in the country that is very close to home.

    The Plantation’s hours are 11 AM to 5 PM with the last admission at 4PM. Admission is $10 for adults and $8 for children 4 to 12. Children under 4 are free. Refreshments and souvenirs may also be purchased. Sorry, no credit cards accepted.

    The Colonial Pennsylvania Plantation is an independent, non-profit 18th century living history farm museum located within Ridley Creek State Park. It is most easily reached via the park’s Route 3 entrance just west of Newtown Square. Visit www.colonialplantation.org to learn more about this and other events.
