This is an amazing opportunity to hear a film score come to life, performed by the original composers and musicians! Debra Granik's film Winter's Bone (written with Anne Rosellini) won a best screenplay award at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival before opening in select theaters and receiving stellar reviews and several Academy Award nominations. While the location for the film is breathtaking (the haunting Ozark Mountains) and its screenplay brilliant, it's easy to discern that the music chosen for the film had a major impact on audiences as well. The Blackberry Winter Band, comprised of musicians from the region in which the film is set, is responsible for this haunting music. For this special tour they will be playing the complete set of music from the file, including traditional mountain folk songs and originals.
