This special event is a fundraiser for the nonprofit Philadelphia Folksong Society, just before their 50th Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival summer event. An evening with Doc Watson and David Holt will be a celebration of over 50 years with the Folksong Society, one of the nation's premier roots music organizations that, in addition to the Festival, brings music education to Philadelphia schools with little or no budget and hosts a season of concerts and workshops.

American Music icons, Doc Watson & David Holt perform a unique night of music that spans generations of folk and blues with a stylistic virtuosity that is second to none.

The evening will feature a special Meet and Greet with Doc Watson and David Holt with beverages and hors d'oeuvres, limited to the first 20 patrons to purchase these exclusive tickets. There will also be a special silent auction featuring a Martin Backpacker Guitar and a Deering Goodtime Banjo, among many other items! Click here for more info on the Philadelphia Folksong Society.
