Trash to Treasure: Family Arts Academy
April 17, 2011
Celebrate Earth Day by transforming trash into treasure. Learn how to create sculptures, games and wearable art using recyclable and reclaimed materials. Take a second look at the "trash" around you, left behind, inherited, dropped on the ground, tossed out...all carrying so many stories. Not trash--treasures to be reclaimed and retold. Your art will encourage attention to and curiosity about found objects. Bring in favorite found and recycled objects and peruse PAFA's assortment of reclaimed materials. Instructor: Ann Keech.
