Philadelphia Film Society 4 Week Screenwriting Class
April 26-May 17, 2011
Have you ever watched a movie and thought, "I could have written something better than that"? Well, now's your chance to prove it! Marc Lapadula, professor of screenwriting at Yale University, will lead a 4-week seminar in the craft of screenwriting at Philadelphia Soundstages, one of the city's largest operating film and television studios. In this course patrons will have the opportunity to examine classic film examples and their construction, explore common genres and screenwriting "rules", and discuss how to sell a completed script.
