    University of the Sciences is hosting a number of events as a core partner of The Philadelphia Science Festival, including a fascinating talk on the first hand adventures of Dr. Guion Bluford, the first African American in Space and former native of West Philadelphia. Talk will be followed by star-gazing in the quad right outside the McNeil STC through telescopes provided by the Franklin Institute.
