Join Amy Sue Barston and Navah Perlman for an evening of Musical and Edible Desserts: an assortment of music from artists including Chopin, Debussy, and Silverman. A dessert reception will follow the performance. Proceeds from this event will help fund Penn Center for Public Health programming, including: a newly established refugee clinic at Penn Center for Primary Care. Funds raised will help support the needs of the newly arrived refugees; the Healthy Post newspaper at Lea elementary school (West Philadelphia), a school based newspaper where students write about health issues while simultaneously learning the business of journalism and improving literacy skills; ServiceLink, a medical student led project at Sayre Health Center that helps link patients to public benefits, specialty care, health information and other needed services.
