Bronx born Ted Horowitz is Blues Rocker Popa Chubby. He hit the Billboard top 100 with "Sweet Goddess Of Love And Beer" & a New York Times review referred to Chubby as a post modern Muddy Waters. Early in his career he was a mainstay of the CBGB's Punk scene playing & touring with punk godfather Richard Hell plus becoming an in-demand session guitarist on the New York scene. A mainstay on festivals, Popa Chubby has headlined The Montreal Jazz Festival & New York State Blues Festival among others. He also garnered a WC Handy Award for his 9/11 inspired "Somebody Let The Devil Out"
