When two Italian mobsters kill his partner, it’s up to Thomas Jefferson Geronimo (MST3K favorite Joe Don Baker) to dispense his brand of old western justice. This is a fish out of water tale of extraordinary proportions, with the totally unappealing Joe Don Baker at his unappealing-ist and Mike, Crow and Servo at their zing-iest. Take one Texas lawman with a penchant for gun fighting and eating Twinkies, add two Italian Mafioso’s on the run and a heaping Joe Don Baker. Shake and pour over a tall glass of the Island of Malta. Serve to a man and his two robots in space. So if you think you can take it, go ‘head on. It’s your move. (Chuck Francisco)

Held captive on the Satellite of Love, everyman Joel (and later Mike) is subjected to the very worst that celluloid has to offer, from the cheesiest 50's Science fiction films to the zaniest of the rubber suit monster movies. His only hope in keeping his sanity is to mercilessly mock these cinematic bombs into hilarity! Luckily, he's built his own robot peanut gallery to help him riff these titans of movie mediocrity. Following that simple premise, Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3K) mocked its way into countless living rooms for 10 seasons ('89-'99). With 198 episodes, a feature length film and a legion of fans (MSTies) under its belt, MST3K is conquering a new frontier: Phoenixville. That's right, Mystery Science Theater 3000 is coming to the Colonial Theatre to riff, taunt, mock and wisecrack you to the funny bone.

    Screened on DVD.

Directed by Greydon Clark. US. 1985. R. Running time: 90 min.
