Morris Arboretum Japanese Cherry Blossom Celebration
April 2-April 9, 2011
Morris Arboretum celebrates the Japanese Cherry Blossom Festival with a variety of activities that will feature the art, culture and gardens inspired by the 35 varieties of cherry trees at the 92 acre garden. Events on April 3 include Origami for Kids, Hoh Daiko Drummers and a Japanese Garden Elements Tour. Events on April 9 include a performance of the ancient Japanese swordsmanship technique, “Ken Jutsu"; a Traditional Japanese Tea Demonstration and a Japanese Garden Elements Tour.
